Jun 23, 2026"Called in for breakfast at 8.30. It's a nice looking place with outdoor seating. Our bacon, eggs and hash browns were really good. The coffee was good too. Nice location near Tahunanui beach. The guy who took our orders was really disinterested."

May 25, 2026"My partner and I had lunch at Catch 22 yesterday, we ordered a cocktail and double smash burger each. The cocktails were everything we wanted and more, the flavours hit perfectly, I had a milky base one which tasted like an alcoholic iced chocolate, so yummy! Our smash burgers paired with Makikihi fries were so impressive! House made sauce, gherkins, onions, cheese and two smash patties between a super yummy brioche bun, it was the sauce, onions and bun that did it for me! We will be back for another round of those smash burgers while they’re still on the specials menu for sure!! Thanks Catch 22!!"

May 25, 2026"I stumbled across this Cafe after venturing around Nelson as an Aussie tourist (visiting Family). Each time I've enjoyed my food & found it to be a good sized serve for the price. The Staff were very accommodating & helpful. I felt like I met my Tribe, at this place. Great chat with Brooke & Ruth was sooo good"

Apr 18, 2026"Came here for brunch and had such a nice time. The man who took our order was extremely friendly and just had such a “can do” attitude. He was very nice!! I ordered eggs benedict with sides of bacon and hash browns, my husband had a toasted sandwich with ham, cheese, pineapple and onion with fries. Our meals came out and I was ecstatic because I saw POACHED EGGS. Perfectly crispy bacon, PERFECTLY hot and crispy hash browns and beautifully cooked English muffins. With my side of hollandaise sauce - on the side as I asked! And delicious hollandaise too. My husband’s toasted sandwich came out and looked so good. A load of ingredients and it was toasted perfectly. Yes I’m using that word a lot!! The fries were excellent too! Hot and crispy. The cafe inside was gorgeous! Lovely stamped concrete floor and cool ceilings! Loved everything in this place - excellent service, excellent food and great atmosphere. Would highly recommend this place to anyone. Thankyou for your kind and thoughtful service!"

The view and relaxed environment makes for a great afternoon out in the sun and shirts right on the edge of Tahuna sports grounds too! Three generations of family with customer service in their nature Such an enjoyable day. Thanks guys"
